Alan Taylor is the Senior Partner at Heckford Norton Solicitors, based at our Letchworth Garden City office.
He’s a specialist in Probate, Estate Planning, Trusts, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Alan has also acted in Deputyship applications providing advice about Court of Protection. Alan is also a specialist in Road Traffic Law, involving a wide range of motoring offences including drink and drug driving.

Biographical Notes
Alan qualified as a Solicitor in 1982 and has enjoyed a varied career in almost all aspects of private practice.
In Alan’s early career he concentrated mainly in litigation and criminal law building a strong and reputable client base in Hertfordshire and Essex.
Alan joined Heckford Norton in 1995 and became a Partner in 2000.
When Alan is not at work he is a keen gardener and chair of the Essex Dahlia Society. Alan has a strong interest in military history particularly the First World War which has led to his involvement with the British Legion in Essex.
